ABOUT NEW LIFE MARINE SERVICES

New Life Marine is Ross Savage. Ross originally trained as a fully qualified commercial aircraft engineer, and worked for 26 years for the worlds favourite airline. Ross started his boating life sailing Enterprise racing dinghies with his father, before moving up to day sailors on the south coast. Eventually the family moved away from sailing and onto powered craft on the upper Thames. Ross bought his first boat in 2005 - a Princess 385 flybridge cruiser which he owned for 15 years. Ross has always enjoyed working in, on and around boats, and following the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020 he took voluntary redundancy from the aviation industry and decided to turn his hobby into a full time job. Ross has a lifetime of experience on the water, and formal, high level technical training to ensure the absolute highest standards of engineering are employed.

In August 2021 Ross and his young family moved out to Corfu, to pursue a new life (get it? ;) ). He closed the fledgling but successful business in the UK and re-opened in May 2022, as a fully registered and licensed Greek business.

New Life Marine operates in all harbours, ports and private moorings and residences in the North of the island, as far south as Gouvia marina - please see Rates page for details of travel to Gouvia marina.

Ross also holds RYA VHF GMDSS operator, PB2, ICC CEVNI and ICC coastal qualifications, for boats over 10m.
